LaGrange Park Library Knitters

Our knitters have created 3 baby blankets, 13 hats, 6 scarves, 4 pairs of mittens, 1 pair of slippers and several squares toward a 4th blanket. All since September. This group will be sent to the Constance Morris House. If you'd like to join us, we have yarn you can use. Formal meetings are on the 2nd Friday of the month at 10:00 am in the 2nd floor east bay, but you can come knit anytime. Stop by the Library and take a look for yourself at all the beautiful items we have made.

After Hours Reference Service

The Library's Reference Staff is always ready to answer your questions in a very timely manner. If a question comes up that you need an answer to right away and the Library is closed, this service will get you the answer you may need.

Knitting & Crochet Help

If you have an interest in knitting or crocheting, we have added several excellent books for beginners to experienced crafters. Our knitting group will meet again on November 11th. If you are able to attend the new titles will be out for you to browse through. We have quite a nice selection of hand made projects to send to our charitable organization. The package will be sent before Thanksgiving.
