Conserving Energy from the Top Down

Monday, June 27 at 7pm

Every homeowner is face with dilemmas pertaining to the upkeep and aesthetic appeal of their roof.  What if your roof could do more for you than just keep out the elements and complement your exterior design? There's good news: it can!  This presentation by Keenan Roofing and Solar, will educate you on the ways your roofing system, coupled with proper attic insulation, ventilaiton, and (potentially) solar components can cut down energy costs and consumption.

E-Reader Q&A

Thursday, June 9 at 7pm

The Library is now offering electronic books compatible with e-readers and other devices.  In this program, you'll learn how to use this exciting new service on your device. 

Don't have an e-reader yet? No problem! We'll help you sort out the capabilities of different devices, show you where else to get free books, and give you a chance to play with some of the Library's e-readers.

Barging Through Provence, France

Monday, June 6 at 7pm

Experience a trip on the River Rhone with Sonia Lawrentz's slide lecture.  You'll see the sights that inspired Cezanne and Van Gogh at Arles and Saint-Remy-de-Provence.  Then drift through the heart of the Camargue, home to famouse herds of white horses and black bulls. The barge trip ends in Sete, a 300-year-old fishing port on hte Mediterranean.
