Welcome to the Library's 2.0 Learning portal! With this blog we will guide you on a tour of new technologies and teach you the importance of taking time just to play.
Life long learning has always been an important part of the Library’s mission. We encourage all patrons to expand their horizons. Technology is one area that is always changing. It’s hard to keep track of the newest trend and to figure out if you need it in your life.
Learning doesn’t have to be boring. With this series of 13 lessons, our goal is
for you to learn through playing and experimenting with new technology. Let us guide you on this new path to
learning. You’ll find out how libraries
are incorporating this technology to expand services to patrons, how these
trends are influencing daily life, and how you fit into the big picture.

And just as a little incentive to persuade you to finish the program, after you complete the first five lessons, there will be a little reward and a second reward when you finish all thirteen lessons.
